If you've got yourself a web browser, you have access to information
on nearly anything.  And yet, there is nothing like a good old
fashioned tip from a girlfriend.  Our girlfriends clue us in to
off-label uses of a products.  (Ever tried Prell for washing
gemstones?)  A discount site.  (If you're a Dansko fan, you must know
about the Dansko Outlet website.)  An easy recipe, a great bar, a
winning mascara ... you name it.  There's no replacement for the
information exchanged between two girlfriends.

With this in mind, in the tradition of Art's Cool List, I started the 
Ladies Room.   The Ladies Room is an email digest that comes out each 
weekday.  Women on the list share experiences and ask questions of 
the group.    Where can I find a good pair of leather pants?    Does 
anyone know of a good dermatologist?   What's meditation all 
about?  The list of topics seems endless.  As does the collective 
knowledge of the women in the Ladies Room.  The majority of the 
members live in the Boston area, but we have women chiming in from 
all over the place - Wisconsin, Colorado, Florida,  DC, California - 
even New Zealand.

Members send their submissions to me and I do my best to keep the 
flow readable.
